I don’t know about you but quite often when I’m out and about shopping for some needed item (well, when I used to be out and about shopping – lol), I frequently found myself without my handy measuring tape. It’s aggravating for sure when you see what you think is the perfect ‘whatever’ for the space you had in mind, only to not have your tape on you to measure it for sure.

Well, I’ve got the perfect measuring hack for you. I heard this the other day on a podcast and thought it was brilliant, and simple to boot. Pull out any bill you’ve got in your wallet and you’ve got an instant ~6″ measuring tape. I measured it for myself, just to be sure.
