Here’s the final (for the time being) installment in my series on how to inexpensively update your look. I’m hoping your having some fun trying a few (or a lot) of these. I sure am!

You won’t believe the great choices out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg and yet still look great. I’m a fan of Francesca’s; they usually have a ‘buy one, get one for 50% off’ sale going, which is great. Check out H&M and Forever 21 (if you can handle the layout in those stores – I personally find it overwhelming, but that’s just me.) Get Your Booties Shaking
If you haven’t got a pair of booties in your closet yet, you’re missing out on one of the easiest ways to update your look. Wear them with your skinnier, shorter-length pants (the hem should hit just above where the bootie starts; make a cuff if you need to.) Maybe start off with a neutral shade, like tan, then when build on your wardrobe, adding in black ones as well. I think you’ll be hooked!

Wear Your Jean Jacket (or Shirt) in New Ways
You’re going to love this one because it doesn’t cost a thing. It only involved your thinking out of the box just a little. Wear your denim jacket or shirt in ways you haven’t tried before. For example, with a pencil skirt or a maxi skirt or dress. Check out my previous blogpost on this subject here. It will instantly expand your wardrobe options, with a $0 price tag!
