“There is nothing new under the sun.” This quote from Ecclesiastes is often used to describe many things – and, with rare exceptions, there isn’t much that is totally new that appears in the fashion world. The clip below is one of my favorites and totally relates to this topic:

What makes trends look new is the way we put them together – and the way you put them together makes them unique to You. When a trend comes around that you’ve loved in the past, take a look at how you can wear it in an updated style. Pair it with a new color or pattern. Wear it with a different jacket or pant. Accessorize it differently than before. Maybe a garment needs a nip or tuck, to be shortened or lengthened, to make it current. Groundbreaking!
