If you’re like me, you wear a lot of denim. Black denim, blue denim, white denim, colored denim. I love to mix it up with other things in my wardrobe, like my maxi-skirts and dresses, sheath dresses, and pencil skirts. It’s a perennially youthful staple in the wardrobe, especially when not paired with other denim, although wearing all-over denim has been in fashion this year. I recently wore my favorite denim shirt with a more dressy pencil skirt and long black cami, with the embellished pewter flats that I love. It felt chic and understated.
I’ve shown how to pair up denim in past blogs, like with florals here, and specifically denim shirts here. Now, I’m thinking of getting these yellow denim jeans – I think they’ll be a favorite for years to come.
And here’s a refreshing (and simple) way to wear your white shirt with denim that looks quite sophisticated. What is your favorite way to wear denim?
